Students School Programs

Published

Hi guys,

i wanted to make a forum for all of the 2019 applicants. I wanted to know what everybody was going to apply with and if they knew anything about the school still being in academic probation? Also does anybody know if the school accepts the Hep A and Hep B shows that are 1 month apart?

How many points are you applying with? And have you taken the HESI?

Yes, I've already taken the Hesi. It's not that bad. I used the study book from Amazon. It's the same one El Centro bookstore sells. I still need to do my TB test.

Hello,

I planned on applying for the Spring 2019 class and I just heard about the academic probation. I plan on applying with 34 points but feel I may need to take summer classes to finish some more BSN courses with possibly more people applying. I don't think them being 1 month apart is an issues as long as you finish both series in the respected time frame but I would check just to make sure.

Hi. I applied with 35 points for fall and will be applying Spring with 36. I have taken classes at El Centro in the past and have my heart set on El Centro!

That's where my heart is set to go also. I know they will take care of the things to get back on the right track. I also need to redo my TB but I was gonna wait closer to summer.

Hi guys, a couple of questions?

1) I'm taking the hesi at a prometric testing center, anyone know the dept Id?

2) say I'll do good on this hesi, I'll have around 40 points, is that good?

Hi. I don't know the department ID. From what I have read on here 25 and up can be competitive depending on the applicant pool.

40 points is good. I'd say above 30 you are solid to get in. I'm a previous graduate from El Centro. I graduated in 2010 with a degree in Radiological Technology.

With the denial of fall 2018, I think most will take extra classes in the summer and reapply. Maymester will only apply as Summer I won't have grades in by the July 10th deadline. Good luck to all!
