ana has signed a contract with healthcom media (hcm) to produce a new periodical, american nurse today. starting in october 2006, members will receive the new periodical as a no cost benefit and non-members and institutions will have the opportunity to buy subscriptions. ana members will continue to receive the american journal of nursing through september 2006.

american nurse today will be the official journal of the ana. it will have a contemporary feel and will offer a mix of news, clinical updates, business consults and continuing education. in addition, each issue will feature peer-reviewed, scholarly content.

why is ana ending its relationship with ajn?

saddened by this event but could see it coming with sale of ajn to lippincott williams & wilkins in 1996. karen
