Hello,
I am trying to decide which of these two online routes to take this summer.
Both offer tuition that are just about the same, about $345 for a 3-credit hour class.
My question, which school is more supportive? Which school will work quickly to answer questions and fix problems?
If you have used any of these colleges, which "home college" did you pick?
Thanks

My home college is Colby Community College. Very good and supportive. I like the fact that the tests are not proctored. I believe they are with the other school you mentioned. I am in my 8th week of a 12 week A&P I course.

I'm using Colby Comm College, but then I live about 45 min from there. As far as quality, this is def a you get what you put into it, and like any course the instructors vary.

I took classes at iowacconline. My home college is Northwest Iowa Community College. They were great and very responsive on the administrative end. I took A & P I & II and Intro to Chem I & II. A & P tests are proctored. That is not so hard to get. You can go to your public library for that. Chem exams were not proctored. I was happy with A & P I and both Chems. The second A & P was a uninvolved instructor.
I am also taking microbiology at www.ccconline.org My home college is Pueblo and they are very attentive too. I tried Denver CC and they turned out to be a dud. No response to anything. I enjoy the class at ccconline as the instrutor is very invoved in the discussion boards and gives a lot of feedback. Labs are hands on rather than virtual, which is also a nice change. Depending on what you are going to take, both schools were fine. HTH
Thank you all for the replies. Because of the time constraint I am going to take classes at Edukan and Iowacconline. Next semester I am going to try CCConline and North Dakota.
This distance learning forum has been a godsend....
Just be careful -- when it comes time to apply to nursing schools, you are going to have to pay fro a lot of transcripts!

Yep, your right....
Well, since I've already attended three colleges, I might as well do it up right!!! lol :rotfl:
I'm travelling now and my local school won't be offering the courses I want in a timely fashion, so I have no choice.
Most of them only charge 5-10 dollars for a transcript.
