Hi CT nurses,

I thought it would be interesting to start an updated thread for everyone to share where you received your nursing degree, if you are continuing education and where, and where you are currently working.

I graduated from CTCCNP, currently attend USJ online for my BSN, and work at CT Children's Hospital :-)

Started with Uconn B.A. in Psychology. Vinyl Tech LPN grad. Goodwin ADN & BSN grad. Half way done with University of Saint Joseph Psych NP program. Work for CT Dept of Mental Health and Addiction.

Hello,

I began at UCONN with a BA in History & Political Science. I went on to UCONN Law School and received my JD. Then went to Goodwin College for the ADN & BSN. Now, I am applying to St. Joseph's for the Psych APRN program. I work for DMHAS.

LPN grad

then St Vincent's for my Associates

back at St V's for my BSN.

Currently working for one of the hospitals that is part of the Yale Health Systems.

ASN from Goodwin, BSN and MSN from WGU, post-masters CNM from Baystate Midwifery in Springfield. Had 3 amazing job offers before I finished CNM school and settled on a full time position for Planned Parenthood of Southern New England. Insanely happy with my job, best thing that's ever happened to me. Makes the 70K of debt on my shoulders (the majority from my tenure at Goodwin, for what it's worth) totally worth it.

WCSU B.S. Psychology and Business Administration with a minor in history. Prior experience as an EMT. Starting my perquisites this Spring. Unsure which school to going to. Have about 6 year's experience in the Healthcare field. 4 year's experience in mental health field.
