I'm looking for students applying to the summer nursing program this year. Just reaching out and hopefully we'll be classmate.

The 30 points are for all the 9 classes.

Did they change the points system since last year does anyone know? Is the Hesi still worth 50 points? Can anyone tell me the points for a 3.56 GPA and 7 classes completed? I'm taking my Hesi for the 2nd time tonight. First time was last month and I only scored a 82, really hoping for the 90 tonight! Thanks for any help.

Good luck tonight! They have changed the point system for this year. They took 10 points from the hesi and gave it to the classes b/c they added nutrition. Total points you have 61.

I'm taking the hesi tonight also, hesi is worth 40 gpa 25 and prereq's 35

its exactly 35 points for 9 classes and 32 for 8 classes

Thanks everyone. Guess I need to stop by and get a new paper to calculate everything. Obviously, I need to do better on my Hesi tonight to even have any sort of chance. Also, it seemed like the numbers posted earlier in this thread seemed kind of low in comparison to what I've been hearing as far as lowest points to get into the program at each campus. From what I've been hearing, I thought that anything lower then a 88 and you wouldn't get into any of the campuses.

yea that isn't true because i know people that got into the program with 85-86 points. I talk to the nurse department on Monday and they said the lowest points that were accepted last summer was, 88-lee, 82-collier, 79-charlotte. It is true that having 88 point mostly likely would get you in.

Can someone tell me what my overall score would be since they changed the point system? I haven't been to an orientation this year yet... 8 classes completed. 3.62 GPA, 89 on my hesi. Please and thank you!! :)
