Did you score well on the Hesi? That is where the points are, that test will make you or break you. Apply anyway, you never know.

Yea i got a 88 and my GPA is 3.5 plus i completed 8 classes..because edison only focus on the test (which doesnt make any sense) i only have 78

I totally understand that. If you haven't done so, you can take the Hesi twice in a year. I took it two times this year. Once in Jan and got an 87 and again at the beginning of March and got a 91. They focus on the test and everything else because so many people do end up applying and the competition is very steep. if you are able to, take the test again. Same questions same test. It's not too difficult to get a better score. I bought a medical dictionary and the hesi study guide. After I took the test in Jan, I wrote down questions I didn't know, looked them up and took the test again. If you can't do that, still apply because you never know if those points will get you in. Summer may not be as competitive as the fall.

Unfortunately I took the test twice already the first time i got a 81 and the second time i got a 88, but i blame myself because the first time I was 9 months pregnant and the second time I gave birth to my son a week prior, so as far as studying goes, I could of done better..but ill see what happens

Hello, I'm applying to the fall program but take my Hesi in a week and a half. Do you both have any advise you could give me? I've taken the TEAS test for another school but am nervous for the HESI because I've heard its harder! I bought the HESI review book so far. Is vocab from the book or will it be medical terms? What I'm really fearing is the Bio and Anatomy :(

I applied last fall and was not successful in being accepted... I had 78 points overall and mostly because I got an 87 on my first HESI attempt. Here I am again applying for the summer, with 8 of the 9 classes completed, with a 3.6 GPA, taking the HESI next Thursday for a second time and crossing my fingers! Good luck to everyone!

If you have taken Bio and A&P then just make just that you can recall the information. The vocab are words from the Hesi book but I bought a medical dictionary b/c I took it twice and there were words I didn't know and they weren't in the study guide. Good Luck with the test.

Good Luck! I hope you do well.

I don't remember how to calculate my points can somebody help me? My GPA is 3.6, my hesi score 89 and I've completed all 9 prereq's. I am also applying for the summer program in collier. Thank you

i lost that green sheet they gave us in orientation but im guessing its around 89 or 90? Can someone also help me calculate my GPA i think thats wrong too. thanks alot

you have 88 points because 89 on hesi equals 35 points, 3.6 GPA equals 18 points and 9 classes equal 35 points
