Edison State College Nursing Program 2011

Took the Hesi last night and still didn't do well enough to even both applying this year. 84. This really sucks! I now need to figure out if I should go to votech and do the LPN route, then come back and try to get in to the RN program later, or just keep taking classes this coming year towards my bachelors and try again next year. Frustrating.

You can try apply for the fall if u don't get in summer. Ima be honest w/u last summer I applied for fall w/a 3.6 gpa, all classes down except micro and 89 on the hesi and I didn't get in. I also had 2 wait a year and now I'm applying for summer. But don't give up keep on trying!!!!

Okay so ill soooo excited right now! For some reason I got wrong information about the hesi and was able to take it again. I got a 93 and a total of 88 points! I'm hoping and praying that I get in!

That's great!!! An 88 is pretty high hopefully that's enough. Which campus is your first choice?

Then u have a pretty good chance, lee is the most competitive. I'm appyling for collier as my first and I have 90 points. I'm also really excited, I hope I get in!! it sucks that we have to wait 2 or 3 weeks to find out if we got in

I know what you mean! next month is my birthday so getting in who be the only gift I want this year. I really worked hard to get here and I hope it all pays off.

Now is the long and grueling wait for that infamous phone call. Hopefully they don't wait the entire 2 weeks to call potential candidates. Hopefully, by next week Wednesday I'll get my phone call.

Why do u assume wednesday? Did u talk to the nursing department and that's what they told u? And they're making phone calls? I thought they send a letter in the mail

I'm just assuming Wednesday so that I put less time on the wait. They wouldn't tell me anything even if I called. Last fall they called the people that were accepted so I just assume that they do the same thing for the summer. I really don't know because last years postings only had one person post that they got in and they wrote that they got an acceptance letter. So I don't really know, I'm just progecting hope.
