Hi all have been reading your post and was surprised to see the dilema's you face trying to get into nursing school.I am from the caribbean and here as long as you have four certificates from high school you get in but they must include English, Math and a science as those are a must.The fourth can be anything.Well just my input hope to here from you.

Wow - that's very neat. The problem in the US is the lack of nursing instructors. You have to have at a minimum a master's degree in nursing in order to teach in the US so that really makes the pot of potential instructors fairly small.

LOL! My friend in A&P with me is going to Barbados for Spring Break! She promised me she'd have a margarita (my favorite drink) on the beach and think of me! I know she'll be rested for the final push! I just hope I can enjoy the week off too.
Your friend is sooooo lucky
We'll leave the books and Highlighters behind....if nursing school isn't as hard over there we won't need books and won't have to constantly study
