They are accredited by middlestate, if they were not accredited, you would not be able to apply for financial aid.

Thank you for the reply, so, it doesn't matter if is not accredited by the Board of Nursing?

The BON does not accredit programs; accreditation is a voluntary step above the minimum of approval. What matters to being able to take NCLEX and become licensed is if the program is APPROVED by the BON.

I see another poster mentioned accredited by Middle States. This is a regional accreditation and not the same as being accredited specifically for nursing through CCNE or ACEN. While you can still become licensed with an approved program without one of those accreditations, it can affect ability to get into graduate programs and even some employers will not take graduates of non-nursing accredited schools.

Well then pick another school, no need to go there

Interesting,  I was looking at the BON NJ under Nursing Programs and Eastwick is not listed, it means it is no approved? but according to this post someone was able to sit for the NCLEX wondering if they were able get the the NJ RN license. I am very interested in this program because works well with my schedule but I just want to make sure if it is the right one. thanks for the help and clarification

You have to make your own decision

Hi ! I will be starting Eastwick's LPN Day program this Spring ! I have a few questions ! Are classes Monday through Friday or just Monday & Friday ? Another thing is, is this college helpful in getting your LPN ? & is their LPN - RN bridge program helpful as well ?

@hadeskitten For the LPN program at eastwick.. is it Monday - Friday or just Monday & Friday ? I start this Spring semester. Do you like eastwick college & I plan on doing the lpn - RN bridge as well.. do you think eastwick does a good job at teaching you?
