I am looking to double up on nursing classes while in the RN-BSN program. I realize that it might be wiser to take certain classes alone and not double up. This thread is for everyone enrolled in the RN-BSN program to discuss which classes are the most/least difficult.
Hey Shelbs! What other classes have you taken so far? I'm about to start the assessments class and I've heard that one was very time consuming!Good luck!
Hey!
I have taken almost all of the required courses from the BSN portion sans Nursing Leadership and Management, which I start next week.
I managed an A in Nursing Research but it was definitely not EASY. The major assignment was rough and critiquing articles does absolutely take practice.
If you have any questions regarding any particular course, let me know! I still have my two upper division electives (Theory and Research) to complete and the Capstone.
Good luck!
Does any one need a POLS 2311 book w/access code. I accidentally ordered two when I took it this semester and I have an extra it came straight from UTA book store it has never been opened and is still in the box the book store sent it in email me at [email protected]
I realize your post was awhile back, so question is for you or anyone else who might can help me..... Is it a good idea to take Capstone with the last nursing elective, which for me will be Coop Nursing Work?? I need both to finish/graduate in fall and have been told you can take concurrently but I am not feeling to sure of myself. Appreciate in advance you guys sharing your experiences :))))
Hey nurselindah
I was contemplating taking co-op (for my last nursing upper level elective) but when I saw you wrote "journaling that is graded hard" LOL I am having second thoughts. The choices for our elective seem very unfair. I took med terminology, ridiculously difficult and of no use long term. I actually wanted to take Psychiatric Nursing which is an upper level course and would benefit me in my career path, but nope not allowed. Very disappointing.
Legacy was not a difficult class for me. I have heard that Medical term. was extremely time consuming. I did not like co-op so much, easy but a lot of journaling that is graded hard.

No-you should take it! It's pretty easy if you can journal about your own insights. I have not keep a journal since I was 12 years old! I'm better at writing about facts over feelings. Just make sure you read the headings and include ALL the information asked for. If something does not apply, make sure to mention that. I did not and lost points. I still got a A but the tight grading miffed me a little, as you can see! Good luck! Hope you are almost done! I don't know where you live, but I think you will be surprised at how many different opportunities will open up for you, once you graduate!
