I'm working in a clinic. How can I complete 20 hours of continuing education (CE) every two years for my RN relicensure?

Thanks,

Look for free CE courses online. You fill out the questions at the end and submit your name for CEs. I do them for my specialty at www.nicuniversity.com. Also, my state board of nursing sends out a catalog of courses to take with costs.

Thanks for give me this useful information.

One website that I have used for home study CE is www.netce.com. I really like the courses and they are pretty inexpensive. They also have free ones available. Also, if you use the coupon code "TAKE10" at checkout, you can get 10% off. I have called them before and all of their courses are approved for nurses in all 50 states. Hope this helps :)

thank you so much!

The Medscape website also offers a lot of (free) nursing CE programs.

i just used netce.com for ceu, inexpensive and nice courses. thanks for recommending it rccamp.

contact the Education dept at local hospitals to get on mailing lists. I work in a hospital that subscribes to an online CNE service. We allow nurses from staff MD offices to participate. Also contact your state nurse's association, if there is one. ANA (www.nurseworld.org) has info too.
