Duke Spring 2022 MSN

Hi there,

I thought I would start this thread for people applying for Duke's MSN program Spring 2022. I am applying for FNP and applied early admission since I'm a Duke nurse. Anyone else already have the ball rolling?

I think as long as the facebook page isn’t under “Duke university” that leads to it sounding official. Something like “DUSON MSN Spring 2022 semester start”

I just found out I got into the DNP FP program for the Spring! 

Do you know if we able to switch from DNP to the MSN program?

you usually start within the MSN program, receive that degree, then move onto the DNP portion.

Hi!

I recently got accepted for FNP in Spring 2022. Does anyone have a break down of what classes we take each semester? I saw the curriculum online but it doesn't give a sense of when we take what classes.

Congrats everyone! So excited to start the FNP program in January ? has anyone else already done the intention to attend, paid deposit, and sent official transcripts? Anyone know if we get confirmation that we’re all set and all materials/forms were received?

Did anyone who applied for the PGC get their degree audit yet? On your admission letter did they list any courses that didn't transfer over ?

Or is that coming later ? Ha

I emailed them to ask when I’d get the results of my gap analysis and they said within 2 weeks of the offer! Hopefully my MSN courses all transfer in for the PGC! ??

@PICU_RN I have a feeling they are going to make me take Adv Patho, and Pharm over again . My advanced patho and pharm were one course together. Grrr.... I guess I don't have a problem refreshing it as it was last year when I took it, but im hoping everything else transfers in! Or ill be getting a double Masters LOL

I might cry if I have to retake EBP/Research ? I’m also not sure about my Adv. Health Assessment course because it was all virtual ?

I have not received my gap analysis yet and there were no classes listed on my admission letter. Did you have any courses listed on your admission letter?

@CJG89 Nothing was listed on mine. I was just curious because the letter said "if you were delinquent in any courses" that they would be listed below on the admission letter.

 

 

@PICU_RN I will cry if I have to repeat that too, along with Population/Epi Health & Statistics hahaha
