  1. Hi there, I thought I would start this thread for people applying for Duke's MSN program Spring 2022. I am applying for FNP and applied early admission since I'm a Duke nurse. Anyone else already have the ball rolling?
  2. I emailed the director of graduate admissions around the end of June, and she pretty much dashed my hopes and dreams by just telling me when next year's application opened up. Seems like the class is full and they aren't expecting much movement. I can always wish for something different, but that seems to be the reality of it.
  3. Has anyone gotten any more information on the wait list? Has it really only been a week? :D
  4. Well I think we all deserve a congrats for making it this far! It sounds like some that didn't make the wait list got into some pretty darn good schools! Here's to hoping people decide to go elsewhere so we get our spots
  5. Just out of curiosity... can you all tell me more about yourself? I have 15 years experience, made a 3.5 for my RN -> BSN courses, a 3.0 for my ADN after some admittedly crappy grades when I was younger, volunteered internationally, certified CRNI, a member of a professional organization... just curious what other's backgrounds are and who they are admitting!
  6. That's good to know GoodyThree. I called and they couldn't tell me that info :/ said to cal back Monday. I will keep that glimmer of hope alive, you never know! Let me know if you find out!
  7. That's a good way to look at it, thank you! I needed that :) I feel good about it, I'm just not the world's most patient person!
  8. I got my letter in the mail today and I was wait listed. Better than a no, but more waiting!! Agggghhh!!
  9. I am in Alamance, but I feel like we should all get together and either celebrate or have a pity party :) I feel like we have gone through something together!
  10. Ugh. I keep thinking maybe today will be the day! I live 20 minutes from Chapel Hill so theoretically I should get it in the mail today. I'm in the same boat as you detrelibre, I just want to know either way! I have made peace with the possibility of a no, but I just want to know!
  11. Mine still says Submitted, but no other news when I open it. Guess it's more waiting for me!
  12. I just came home to check my mail and nothing today í ½í¸±í ½í¸±í ½í¸±
  13. Sorry to hear that kh315. Congrats on UVA!
  14. I just called again because I'm a neurotic freak and she said all letters have gone out, and it's likely that you will get an actual letter in the mail before an email. She said the grad school is working on the emails so you can also see it online, but we should get the letter in the mail this week or early next week. I'll be so relieved to find out, either way!!
  15. I haven't heard yet from email or snail mail. They really said all letters have already been mailed? I called about a week ago and they said letters would be mailed April 23d. Disappointing that some have heard by email. I hope that doesn't mean bad news for me!
