Anyone else applying to Duke MSN program for Spring 2019? Application deadline is Monday and it's all I can think about! I'm applying to the PNP program. Would love to connect with some other potential cohort members!

The GRE requirement fell off my SISS page and it says application complete!! Woohoo! Hopefully we'll start hearing about interviews soon......

I haven't heard anything either! I have gone through posts from last year and they normally donSpring interviews in late July. That is a pretty long wait!!!!!

Has anyone heard anything about interviews yet?

Nothing yet... I talked to Nora today and she indicated they would be making decisions over the next week or two....

I also applied to the spring 2019 MSN cohort. My application was marked complete last week after being incomplete bc I was not required to submit my GRE score. Does anyone know how long the program is supposed to take? I was told 2.5 years.

The program basically no longer offers a different curriculum for part time/full time students. I am set to begin this fall 2018 and we are the first cohort that this will affect. That being said, at least for the fall, it is basically three years of two courses at a time (8 consecutive semesters)

Fall (2 courses) spring (2 courses) summer (1 course) - year 1 - no travel to campus

Fall (2) spring (2) summer (2) - year 2 - travel begins

Fall (2 courses) spring (2 courses) - year 3

I was told spring 2019 cohort would be the same just shifted accordingly. This is the only available schedule and there are no longer any alternatives. Sucks for those of us that wanted to really be "full time"!

Thank you so much for giving us an update on the plan. If you don't mind, what semester will you begin clinicals?

Hannah, thank you so much for that info!! It answers a ton of my questions. I understand the disappointment about wanting to be full time and get though faster, but as a working single mom, only having two classes per semester sounds very do-able and relieves a lot of my concern about the workload.

I've been searching their website, any idea on cost breakdown? From what it says on their website, the FNP per semester cost is about 10,000; is this cost reflective of the new part-time program?

Just trying to get an idea of overall cost of the program per semester. Thanks!

Got a notification I was selected for an interview for next week last night! Excited, anyone else? Good luck everyone!

I also got an email to interview next week! Congratulations LidiRN99!!!

I also got notified for an interview on July 3rd and I have set up my interview for Thursday, July 12th. I am very nervous as Duke is my first choice. Does anyone know the acceptance rate? The month long wait after the interview is going to be agonizing!

I was wondering the same thing. Since it is going to be less credit hours per semester it should be less than that. I am hoping to pay as I go so fingers crossed.

I applied for the BSN-DNP program for PNP-PC and also received an email for an interview and set it up for the 10th.
