Hey all,
Just wanted to know who is considering going to Duke for their FNP next fall. I know it's still early to apply, but the deadline is just around the corner.
Quick question for students that reside outside of NC. Where will your clinical rotations be performed? From my understanding, the school assigns preceptors, clinical rotations, etc...
Just wondering.

I found my own clinical site. I'm in the neonatal program and they have not had any students in Washington state. I contacted all the hospitals with level III or IV NICU's in my area. I ended up going with my areas Children's hospital and the neonatologists and NNP's staff 4 hospitals in the area. They are 45 mins to almost 2 hours away from my house.
Yeah I got mine in 9/2014 as well. Denied and the email said "If vaccination option used and date of review is between April 1st and August 31st, the influenza vaccination provided must be for the upcoming influenza season." So maybe I will just skip this one?
So, I recd that notice as well. How did you proceed?
I'm going to email them and find out since the deadline to complete this is May 15.

I haven't completed the whole process, but I've paid for the background check. I'm going to finish it today.
