Starting a thread for all those who have applied to the Fall 2020 Term at Duke. I have applied to the Pediatric Primary NP program.

Specializes in NICU and Peds CVICU.

To be honest, I wasn’t thinking about cost when I applied to Duke and Vanderbilt but now I definitely am. I think I’ve pretty much decided on Rush but I am waiting to see each school’s financial aid package to be sure. On the flip side, I also got into a state school which would be even less expensive than Rush but their program had some cons that outweighed the cheaper tuition for me. I think you just have to weigh what’s important to you!

I accepted a spot at another school in Feb. I feel like this whole thing is going to make Duke take forever to send out decisions.

Good morning. Hope everyone is staying safe. I was reading this on CNN this morning.
Colleges delay deposit deadlines amid coronavirus

I wonder if Duke will be one of those Universities that extend the deposit deadline for those who get accepted.

I'm really hoping to hear something by the end of the month.
A few interviewees were told decisions would be made possibly be made late March, early April. Nora mentioned in someone’s email that we would be informed in the first two weeks of April.

I’m still hoping for end of March. ??
