Duke ABSN Spring 2018

Hello!

I haven't seen any threads yet about Duke's ABSN program for Spring of 2018 so I thought I would start one to chat with other hopefuls like myself!

Also, if anyone who has previously been accepted into the program, any and all advice would be greatly appreciated! For now, I have a few questions:

- Does anyone know if they weigh all parts of the application equally?

- What is their acceptance rate?

- Any good tips for the personal statements? I'm finding that it's very difficult to articulate why I want to be a nurse without sounding cheesy.

- Where else are y'all applying?

I just got the email saying decisions were posted and now there is no button for me to view my decision, so I still do not know if I got in or not I hope they fix this soon!

Hi all! I have been accepted as well! I met one person from the cohort at the chapel today, we both had the same idea to visit campus right after the decisions came out lol. I went back and my decision letter has disappeared also.

Hello everyone! I have been accepted as well! I too experienced my letter disappearing after I received my acceptance. I called Technical support and they said they are working on getting the problem fixed. If anyone receives an update about the portal plz let us all know. I can't wait to see everyone in January!!!
