Hi guys! I haven't seen a thread yet for Duke's ABSN Fall 2017 yet, so just thought I'd get it started! I'm excited to be attending the open house later in September and look forward to meeting some of you there.
I received an email stating that due to limited space I'm not able to attend Duke Days, but when I emailed them back to clarify she stated that I can still be accepted into the ABSN Fall 2017 program and I should still plan a separate visit. She said I haven't been declined and I'm curious if anyone on this thread has received the same info? I really want to get into this program and I'm very concerned. Any info is much appreciated.
Received the invitation also! I'm thrilled, as Duke is my first choice, so now just hoping we all have good news to share come April! However, due to distance and my current class schedule, I talked to Nora today to see if not attending Duke Days would hurt me in any way, and she said absolutely not. I hope that bit of info helps anyone else that is hoping to be accepted to Duke. I plan on visiting in May as soon as my classes are out. :)
This is my first time commenting on this board but, I too received an invite to Duke days and I am thrilled. I am commenting to see if anyone else is having difficulties logging on the their online account on the Duke website. Sometimes it allows me to long on and other times it does not.
this may be a silly question, but is "duke days" the spring info session on march 20th? i received an invite to that and not sure if its the same as duke days! ^ i have not yet registered so not sure if it is already full, i will keep you posted! thanks!!
I believe this is a separate event. I was invited to duke days and had the option to choose between March 24th and March 31st to attend. Hope this clears that up.
I haven't received any email at all. Just one reminding me to do my FAFSA paperwork. I spoke with another person in my one my classes and they hadn't heard anything either. Does that mean I'm not invited? Are they sending all the emails at different times?
I wouldn't say that means you aren't invited, they may send them in waves. I'd call nora on Monday and ask though. Also be sure to check your spam folders.

I agree, definitely call Nora on Monday. My invitation to Duke Days came late due to the first one not going through related to Gmail accounts affected by the Amazon outage.

All 4 semesters cost 21,000 each! This is an $84,000 program. It's all on the website.
