Hi! I am a BSN-RN. I haven't have use my license for a long time because of few opportunities working as a nurse here. So I went to look for a job in pharmaceutical sales and has been working ever since for several years.
Our job is to promote drugs to doctors, conduct medical meetings or medical lectures. Visits pharmacies and other sales related stuff. Sure, some doctors don't like us but we do sure help them in improving their medical practice by introducing to them new medicines, new updates on drug therepies, etc.
Financially, aside from basic salaries, we have lodging and food allowances. The use of company car, sales incentives and commissions. The ability to travel to other places at company's expenses is great and so other benefits.
I guess I have said enough on this. :)

That's really great !
Have fun ! :balloons:
At one major hospital and clinic chain I worked for, drug reps were not allowed. It was a major HMO. A drug formulary was set in place, so unless the drug rep's meds are on that list, he's out of luck anyway. This was on the west coast. We kinda thought they were the scum of the earth.
Drug reps seem to have more access to md's in the midwest, or at least that's been my experience.
At most places I worked for, we were too damn busy to deal with reps.
The only good thing was the free samples we could get for patients....
