Drug Guide Apps & Apps in General

Published

Greeting to all of everyone! I hope you are well!

I have a few questions you may be able to help out with:

1) What is the best drug guide app? I downloaded Lippincott's (favorite publisher) but wanted to know what people think before I pay ~$30. Have you used it, what do you think? What drug guide app would you recommend?

2) I'm also looking for a pocket med surg app. Again, I downloaded the Lippincott app but wanted to know what people think. Or is there a better app?

3) Okay, final app question! In general, what are the most useful apps for nursing, both as a student and professionally?

Thank you! Excited to be a student LPN!

Personally I love the Davis drug guide. We have Lippincott at work and many times I find things in my guide that aren't in Lippincott. Apps are nice BUT some places (like where I work) Internet connection sucks big time. I can never connect to anything on my phone at work. I use my book at work and the Internet guides they provide such as up to date. We also keep textbooks on the floor for reference...Internet may not always be available, just keep that in the back of your mind!

Good luck!! :)
