Anyone out there has applied or is applying to the ACE class beginning Spring 2011? Anyone waiting to hear from admissions for now?
I haven't settled on one yet. I'm planning on moving around Jan. I am moving with my boyfriend, 2 small puppies and a ferret
I thought it was too early to start looking because most of the apartments have immediate move in dates or move in by Aug or Sept.
I too am worried that apts won't be so abundant around Jan though.
I wanna work and save up some more money before moving out there.

oh and I am definitely trying to move close to the school. I know parking can be a nightmare, so an apt within walking distance would be ideal.
I think I would prefer living close to school to, even though I know we'll have to move around for clinicals, it will give me some security that first quarter.
2 puppies, a ferret and a boyfriend? Wow. I just have to wrangle my two cats, but they are good travellers.
I actually did end up finding an apartment. It was actually pretty easy finding places during the summer. I don't know what the situation will be like come January, but I don't see how it could be that bad with the turnover of all those students in Philly.
Are you moving up and taking the apartment now, then?
Yup, I'm moving in August. Hm. That's weird that they're asking for a birth certificate.
Yeah I don't undertand it either, but I sent Ms Englemann an e-mail asking her why.
Well at least you will be all settled come Spring. I will be on the Semester at Sea program from August-Dec, so I really don't want to get a place until December, but I would sign a lease now so I could have everything settled.
Is your place a high rise? Near school? Pet friendly?

Yup! Craigslist is an awesome place to look. I'm moving from Virginia, and I had no trouble finding my apartment from that site. Good luck!
