Hey allnurses community! I noticed a group wasn't yet in existence for this cohort, and I was eager to connect with my potential future classmates. The priority deadline for applying to the fall 2017 cohort is October 15th. I received an email that my application status was complete on September 15th. The only thing I need to still finish is to CLEP Human Growth and Development. I plan to take the exam early October, and send my scores to ASAP. I am currently in a BSN program that I started this month, and my expected graduation date is Dec 2018. It is normally a 3 year program, but I entered already having a B.S. (which is not required at my current program) and many of my classes transferred in. I would love to be done with school sooner rather than later, and have always been attracted to the ACE 11 month program (and Philly!). Being that I would graduate fall of 2018 and from a renown program such as Drexel's, would be so great. I am so eager to hear back! After stalking the fall 2016 group, it seemed that the first people heard back at the end of October. I figured it would be easier for all of us applicants to deal with the waiting game together, so please don't hesitate to post if you've applied or plan to apply for this cohort!

As of the last open house I attended, 24 month program classes are Tues / Thurs and one day every other weekend + some on line classes... However, the program is growing/evolving, so I I wouldn't apply for a job on my word.

OMG!!! This has been the best birthday ever!!!! I noticed that I have a bunch of notifications and one happens to be from . I log on to Discover and I've been accepted for the 24 month ACE program for Fall 2017!!!! Ahhhhhh so excited!!!! Is there a Facebook group yet, I have to read through the last few pages and catch up. Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted. If you're waiting the good news is coming.

Hi everyone!

So I just applied 2 weeks ago, definitely later than everyone else. Does anyone know if I even have a chance of being accepted into the Fall 2017 class? I'm not sure how their rolling admissions works. Any information at all would be helpful! Thanks!

Hello!

I applied a month after the priority deadline and I was put on the waitlist last month. I'm waiting like you would for a decision so it's not too late at all (in my opinion). In addition, I was reading class year forums up until now for previous years and I saw people getting accepted in March-May the latest. There is rolling admissions until the class is full so you still have a chance! Good luck ☺

Hello all,

I checked my application portal yesterday to find that I had a status update and discovered that the admissions committee could not render a decision on admission and wanted to wait until I had more pre-requisite courses completed.

Out of the list of pre-requisites required, I am missing A&P I and A&P II, and am currently enrolled in the former and plan on taking the latter next semester in the Spring semester. I e-mailed Fran and she replied and let me know that the admissions committee will not usually render a decision if they have not taken:

- A&P I/A&P II

- General Chemistry

- Microbiology

With all that said, Fran said they would make a decision on my application once they receive the grade I receive in A&P I at the end of this Fall semester. The fact that they haven't outright rejected me still gives me hope and I plan on killing it in A&P I the rest of the semester (currently have an A) and go all out!

Hope this information is useful for anyone in a similar situation.

I just wanted to provide an update to this post. I submitted my A&P I grades from Fall semester (A+), and my application status went to being on hold to being accepted!

I am in my last pre-req, A&P II right now so it is a conditional admission assuming I finish this class but barring any unforeseen circumstances, I'm planning on moving from California and attending next fall!

I was accepted to the 2 year program as well! Still deciding because I am from CA and trying to figure out if I should make the move. Anyone know when the deadline is to submit the deposit? And anyone that may need a potential roommate?

I was accepted to the 11 month program but if I recall correctly, the portal stated that we have 60 days to submit the deposit.

Congrats on your provisional acceptance! I've also been accepted to the ACE 11-month program, pending completion of one more prereq. I have about 45 days left to decide and pay this deposit and/or defer -- ahh! I'll also be making the move from California (southern).
