I'm just wondering if there are any out there who are in the process or have applied for psych nursing 2015 fall at Douglas college? I think I have about 11-12 points. How is everyone else doing? The sooner you apply, the better your chances are or no? (say a bunch of people have 11 points, will the person who applied earlier get priority?)
I've been going back and forth between BSN and BPN, but I know deep down in my heart, psych nursing is something that I've wanted to do ever since I was young!
Im in the diploma program (switching to degree program while in the program) and have finished semester 1/3 of the PNUR program, if you have any questions, ask away..i can let you all know what to do/expect for your first year in the nursing program. Also, the cut off for diploma is usually higher than degrees..most people applying into the diploma already have degrees.. the degree students usually have the 1 year certificate in academic foundations..generally the cut off points for the PNUR program in general is around 11 points or so. 17 points is a guaranteed seat.
I got an email saying I'm wait listed, So I emailed Collette to ask what number I am wait listed for #85 for Degree program and #70 for Diploma. I have NO chance:( This is with 8 points.
