I'm just wondering if there are any out there who are in the process or have applied for psych nursing 2015 fall at Douglas college? I think I have about 11-12 points. How is everyone else doing? The sooner you apply, the better your chances are or no? (say a bunch of people have 11 points, will the person who applied earlier get priority?)
I've been going back and forth between BSN and BPN, but I know deep down in my heart, psych nursing is something that I've wanted to do ever since I was young!
Thanks for the info dressage_girly. More waiting, yay!! What I'm mostly concerned about is getting a seat into 2nd year direct entry... I'm finished all of the first year courses and am PRAYING I dont have to wait around another year. So stressful!
Yeah, Same goes for me. Im not really concerned I won't get a seat but that I will have to wait for 2nd year. Just have to wait and see what my options are after I get a seat, If I do.

Hey :) I have 17. I couldn't wait for the news either but the first letter that I got (which explained about the outline of schedule of preferential points and all), it said seat offers will be made after 6-8 weeks from the date on the letter (which was feb 17) so this week is the 6th week which all makes sense. :) I'm sure all of us will get in :) positive vibes!

I applied both and had to choose when you-know-who called me on Thursday. I couldn't decide right away so she gave me some time and told me to call her back no later than Tuesday 7th 9am. I had a long talk with another advisor in health science department and decided to go for diploma but get the degree at the end so I called you-know-who after few hours. My letter is going to be sent on Tuesday! It always feels awesome when you can sneakily get bachelors with diploma program

I emailed the lady from admissions today and she said ranking wasn't done yet. She said offers will be going out within 2-3 weeks.
