How many points are you expecting? I should end up with 12 which hopefully gives me a good chance

What was the cutoff for the previous intake?

Just received second year direct entry for the degree program :) very excited but still planning to look into the diploma option as it is quicker

Im not sure if you do with 5 points but stay hopeful and work on increasing your score in the meantime

not a chance; not for the january 2015 intake anyways. I believe the cut off points is either 11 or 12..you may get an offer of admission though if either some people do not respond or your high up on the waitlist.

Does anyone have any info on the first aid requirements? Are you supposed to take the course before you accept your offer? Or before the deadline they give you?

There was no mention of first aid in the paperwork that was sent to me, so I am waiting. It's bad enough I have to pay for a doctor's visit for paperwork, and pay for vaccinations from the travel clinic because the earliest public health nurse appointment I can get is in October. Sigh. Pay pay pay pay pay. Seems to be what nursing is about. >.

What vaccinations did you need to get? I have all of mine documented actually. All i had to get was a tetorifice shot which is great news for me

I have to get a lot of shots, even though I already had a lot of them in 2010 when I worked in the hospital. Sigh... I'll have to pay for them at a travel clinic too, so more $$$$.

My deadline for paperwork was July 25th or something. I'm in the diploma program.

I got accepted into the psychiatric nursing program with 11 points. On my application status it says offer made but outstanding items. I was told by someone that as long as I have the form filled out by doctor and signed showing I am capable of doing the program that vaccination can be done once in the program, that faculty members will allow you to do it then. Is this true?

I have to receive a polio booster but am out of the country for a few weeks. When i emailed them i was told all vaccinations must be done by octoboer
