I just graduated with my BSN in December and have been searching for jobs for a while. I got a call from Emory and Northeast GA Med Center and they said they would forward my resume to the nurse manager. I had an interview with the Medical Center of Central Georgia on Monday and they offered me a job.
I would really rather stay closer to Atlanta or the north side, so I don't know what to do. I don't want to turn down this offer since it's been difficult for new grads. At the same time I really want to hear from these other hospitals.
Should I call them and tell them I had a job offer and I want to see if they are still interested in me? MCCG wants an answer by Monday but they still haven't told me about pay and benefits so I'm thinking about asking for another day or two or think about it. In the meantime, I can contact the other hospitals.
Any suggestions?
