Hello everybody!
I recently applied to Dominican College WABSN 2020 and would like to meet current applicants, current or former students. The weekend program is very convenient for working adults, that is the main reason why I chose it. However, there are no reviews about this program, I would like to read about others experience and thoughts about the school/nursing program in general.
Everybody is welcome to this post, let's share our experience through this process.
Thanks!
Please let me know if you hear back.
Did you get accepted to the college?
Apparently you have to get accepted to both the college and SON.
You are waiting for the SON decision right?
Did all of your prerequisites get transferred?
Also how was the writing exam? I think I will wait until I hear back.

I'll definitely post here if I'm accepted! I got accepted to the college a while back and they send a course transfer page to show you what got transferred. I have 4 pre reqs in progress. And the writing test was just an essay!
Did you already complete the biochemistry and patho courses?
Which 4 classes are you taking?

thank you.
Hi,
So you get a prompt and get 2 hours to write an essay about it. I took 2 hours but you could definitely do it in 1. I got a top score. I did it before getting a nursing decision but it doesn't seem like it matters.

Hi, I haven't heard back yet either. I applied in September and my gpa is 3.3 as well. When i called she said decisions go out end of November beginning of December. Now we're ending beginning of December soon lol. And I did already do the writing placement.
Let's both keep our hopes up for good news this week!
