I have a big question. I want to know if the rules of nursing are still the same when it comes to domestic violence charges on a child under 18 and also what if the records had already expunged? will the state board and the employers in the nursing field still hold it against the person?
In nursing school. planning on becoming a nurse soon..... just cant help but wonder if they'll hold me back for it. I mean I was only 17 and it is expunged already.

It may depend on where you are applying to take your boards. In my state, they do not require you report crimes that were expunged or sealed...

A friend of mine is encouraging the state legislators to require CME hours for medical professionals to screen for domestic violence. Check out The Peach Project for details.
