Just got my midterm project back and got a 60/60 (100%) and the instructor wrote that it was "perfect." LOL! So I have a 97.66 right now in lab/lecture....OH, I hope I keep my A! I have some hard stuff coming up! Dont mean to brag...just happy!
How are you Micro peeps doing?

I am also doing really great in the class....had 3 100's in lecture and my lab is in the mid 90's.

I am enjoying the break from it though.....we have spring break and the only germs I worry about are the ones on my kid :lol2:

Oh, BTW Congrats on your terrific midterm project.

CONGRATS on the good grades so far!

I know--class starts up again and I hope I can get back into studying. The week off was too fun! OH WELL! The semester will soon be over.

i'm doing my happy micro dance right now, too! i found out that i got both of my unknowns correct!! (staphylococcus epidermitis and esherichia coli). i do have to thank my friend, jennifer, for focusing my microscope correctly for me, so that i went on the right path...thanks, girl! we had our lab practical today and i think i did pretty well. then i just have to get through the final on thursday and i'm done! i still have to finish world lit this semester and i am all finished with my pre-reqs and core classes....

Congrats to all of you!!! I'm taking Micro as an 8-week class this summer, and it's absolutely the last class I have left out of all the pre-req's for the RN program. I'm hoping to recieve my letter of acceptance in the next week or so. As a mother of 2 teen girls, and at age 37, I feel a little intimidated. On the other hand, I feel more confident about where I'm going now, since I've lived a little. lol

Well, I think your experience will benefit you well. I am 33 and have two boys ages 8 and 6. I started pre reqs when I was 29 and am 3 semesters away from graduating. I have loved school so far, but I wouldnt have done as well when I was yuounger-I was really immature and didnt know how to study, etc. I am in school with 18 year olds and 60 year olds. There are benefits to each age! Just ENJOY it!

After scoring not so good on my first exam, I revamped my studies and pulled hundreds on my lab practicals and exams, now I know I have a great chance of getting my A.
