The Department of Health (DoH) today announced that applications can be filed starting next week, January 17, for its project where unemployed nurses will be deployed to poor communities in the country.
"the project, billed RN heals, seeks to make essential health services available to all Filipinos by training and deploying 10,000 unemployed nurses in communities to be identified by the DoH in collaboration with the department of social welfare & development (DSWD),"
Health secretary Enrique Ona said.
Rn Heals, an acronym for registered nurses for health enhancement and local service, is expected to address the shortage of skilled and experienced nurses in 1,221 rural and unserved or underserved communities for one year.
"eventually, these nurses will be part of the pool of competent nurses for later employment or absorption in health facilities, thus addressing the inadequate supply of skilled nurses and increasing the nurses' employment rate," the health chief concluded.
hi everyone..I got a text from DOLE regional office that I will should report into their office on feb 6,2011 how come they will have there interview during weekends?I am also ask to copy of my prc license,barangay certificate, and medical certificate indicating that I am fit to work.aren't they send emails regarding this?any advise?
so does it mean that they will get the list of succesfull applicant from those they have already interviewed? F we are not called for the interview it means we have no chance of seeing our name on the list they will post on feb 7?
hi. I registered at the RN heals last jan 18 at around 10:30pm. Me and my friend from quezon went to dole. He went to dole lucena, coz his from quezon and I went to dole calamba coz i'm form region4a. We both submitted prc license photocopied, resume, tor, and the confirmation letter. after a week, he received a text message for an interview, but i haven't receive a text message until now, I am so worried. does it means, i will not be accepted at rn heals?
haha..i've been waiting since jan.17...i'm from region 4A too.no email, no txt, no call, no mental telepathy...so i haven't had any interview and still no plans on getting a med certific8. i already convinced myself that i have no hope in this...bum forever!!!arghhh
yeah, I haven't received any reply from DOLE yet.I read in today's newspaper that 58,000 nurses applied for this program and as we all know, only 10,000 nurses will be hired..hmm.. makes me wonder how they screen the applications.....:confused:
by the way any news from region 4?
