Does size of the NCLEX envelope matter?

Is it true that the size of the envelope when you receive the result from the board matter? Because I read on an article that if you receive a bigger envelope that means that you failed and that envelope includes your performance result. On the other hand, if you pass the exam, your going to receive a mail with smaller envelope including your license number? Is it true guys? Im just confused..Thanks!!

Thank you Leilah... Im just confused cuz some says that size doesn't matter. I once read here in the forum, that she got the huge envelope but she passed! According to her, at first she feels like so hopeless seeing that huge envelope that she don't want to open but when she read it all, she was relieved upon seeing the word PASSED. Whew! I hope I will experience the same thing. Hehhehe... If ever I'll receive a huge envelope. Btw, so, what's inside the huge envelope u received before ur license? Does it says that u passed? Thank u again.

It said congratulatons for passing NCLEX-RN and attached is my RN CERTIFICATE! the cerificate is pretty neat! that is why iT is huge! It is the same envelop that I received with appliction forms and stuff from BON.

awww too bad! I didn't make it!!! Huhuhuh... I only failed in two categories... Infection Control and Health Promotion. And now, i don't know how and what im gonna do to pass the 2nd take.

Here's how it works- when you get the envelope, big or small, open it and read the letter. It will tell your results.

And now, i'm so concern about the envelope size. Some said, "small" means PASS, "big" means FAIL. How true is it? There are also some who said, evelope sizes doesn't matter and there was one who said that she got the big envelope but she passed. Hope u guys can help me with my concern. And I still have to wait for my friend to mail me the result.

There is no different sizes in envelopes. That's an old wives tale has been around for over 30 years. You need to go back and read the beginning of this thread.

Why do you have to wait for a friend to mail you the results? :icon_roll
