Does the Pearson Vue trick work? 911

My relative is a manager with Pearson. She said that there really is no need to do that. If you pass, then the computers give you a board of license number so you can actually check your state board of nursing and you will see you have a number for the license.

She is incorrect...the results ALWAYS post on Pearson before you BON issues a license number. That is because Pearson has to determine a pass or fail and the BON has to get that information first BEFORE a license number is issued...they are not simutaneous.

In my state, your license number is issued one week after you get your Pearson results.

i havent checked like pay to find out or pay thru website. i do believe in god and i have faith that everything will be ok. i studied and even though the test was not like the review i took (kaplan) but it did have some strategies. anyways i made time to study i really really wish it is what i think it is. and the devil keeps putting that in my brain and i gotta think positive! i did what i had to do then i left it in gods hands. i still think if its not asking me to pay and it says and when i click next nope nothiing happend its like the screen is locur registration is not confirmed until u go to the next page and fill out ur card infoked it doesnt let me type i cant even click on the boxes. so i think to myself ok its telling me that to confirm my registration go to the next page and it does not let me. which means?.... guys when i walked out the testing center i felt good guys i felt like i had passed i felt good. and not that u guys believe in signs or anything but i do (i kno u think i'm silly) but this is what i got from something that i read yesturday

my frnd said think about it the 1st time u failed it let u paid asap! this time it doesnt. and i was thinking since its a new test maybe the "box" that pops up changed? if it doesnt let u pay ur good..... :)

...but were the results "delivered" when you did this?

seriously...if they were not, then the pvt is not accurate...and you got a message very different from what other people are getting (you got neither a pass or fail message). the pvt does work, but you have to know how it works to get accurate results.

they did not change anything this year...several friends who just graduated got the same "pass" or "fail" pop up.

yes, i kno i got a very different msg. but idk if u read my the first blog. minutes after taking the nclex well like 20 or 30 i logged on pv and the first thing that i got was a box that said "our records show u currently have an open registration. you can not register at this time" then i said ok....it didnt say contact ur bon so i was a little confused. then like 5 hrs later i check it agian it didnt give me a box! it allowed me to go thru the registration process (ur name, education,...) it didnt let me put information to pay! when i chick next so i would pay the $200 it would take me to the page but it was as if the screen was locked like i can move the mouse and everything but where i had to type my credit card info it didnt let me. it says in red letter to comfirm ur registration confirm this information on the next page!!! so i said ok it doesnt let me enter nothing well let me press next so i did and it didnt let me go instead a got a boxed that said you must enter ur credit card information but how can i enter it if it doesnt let me go? the computer stops me when i press next. and according to my frnd if it doesnt let u pay u kno u good, but in my case i hoenst to god i have no fucken clue

but please tell me if this makes sense to u:

if i failed the test like i did b4 it let me register asap went thru registration and everything paid u name it. because if they kno u failed (when the computer shuts down the decision is already made). so of course u would be allowed to reregister correct? yes

but if u passed why would the computer let u take a test u just passed? thats why they stop u from the payment process correct? b/c thier records kno you passed and therefore the registration for that test (apyment) is out of hte question correct?

Is this based off of real results or the attempted PVT? It this is indeed from the real results then I am so sorry. I know there is nothing I can say to make you feel any better but I will say this: Don't give up. I don't care if you have to take boards over and over again just don't give up. Take some time for yourself and then pick yourself up and start studying again. Good luck. We are all rooting for you. Hugs sent your way. :hug:

pearson vue trick worked for me!!! i took my boards on tues at 10 am. i tried that trick at 2am because my friend told me so. I passed the boards!!! i got the good pop up. everyday i checked to see if i still had the good pop up. 5 of my classmates too did the pvt, it all worked for all of us! goodluck

you shouldn't be getting the message that says ur registration isnt confirmed till u put in ur card info......but lets hope u pass! ill be praying for u.

So sorry you didn't pass OP. Like another poster said. Keep your head up and don't give up. If you made it through nursing school you can definitely pass! I know it will be hard, but take some time for yourself and a week or two off from thinking about it. Also I took the Hurst Review before I took my nclex and that really helped me. It was more of a review of information and how to think through the questions. Good luck to you and keep us posted when you take it again :)

it works definitely. did it within minutes after taking nclex first time and went to straight to cc. then, i did it within minutes of taking my nclex the second time and got the pop up. i found out, i passed officially!

I'm so nervous. I take the NCLEX on the 23rd and I am currently doing the Exam Cram CD and taking the HESI review course next week. I have taken NCLEX-PN before and passed first try, but I will be taking the NCLEX-RN this time. Keep me in your prayers. Can't wait to get home and do the PVT !!

l am sorry for hearing this. Pls take a break and relax but do not give up on your dreams. l do not know what you are doing wrong or did wrong. You can take couple of weeks off from studing. when you feel like you are ready, do not rush in paying for the exams. pls sit down with a pen and paper and write down what you think you did wrong and the way you studied, maybe the next time you have to change your ways of studing. l did that and l also learned the trick to answer the nclex. lf you have kaplan book, it shows you the trick of answering the nclex. what state are you in , if l may ask. sorry for repling late been busy looking for a job. pls let me know if you have any question . take care
