Anyone? If you are interested, it might give some perspective of the difficult environment I work in.
I'm not saying don't post. Obviously you have a varied and interesting past and could contribute to many discussions here. What I am saying is it is common courtesy to get to know the message board's dynamics. Your unique posting style is not typical for this message board, which is why people tend to comment more on the delivery of your posts, and less on the content.If you genuinely want to gain favor with the general membership here, step back. Instead of creating new posts, contribute to existing ones. Offer advice. Share stories. Less attention seeking, dramatic posts will gain a far warmer welcome.

Do lots of that. Give guidance and support to others for a little while. Let members get to know you that way.
I'm appreciative of you taking my comments in stride. I hope your summer was good, and your students/patients are well.
