Hi, if anyone out there knows of any travel agency that helps send nurses to Dubai or Abu Dhabi could you please help me out. I really want to go out there to work, but I cannot find a travel company out there. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated!! thanks so much!

I am assuming that the salary is in dhirams. You need to work it out and compare it to what you were making in the UK! Is that salary based on your years of experience etc? Did you negotiate your salary?

I also want to go to Abu Dhabi, a hospital near to me is actually building a hospital there and it should be finished in approx two years, hence my interest. I think the director there at SKMC is an American? I am not sure..

I work at Denver Children's and our CFO was going to work at the University Hospital in Dubai as their CFO, but due to the world economic status, his contract was cancelled. Are there any nurses currently working in Dubai that knows what's going on with the Children's Hospital and Healthcare City?? I'd love to work in that region and have been searching for information but have been having a difficult time! Thanks!

Im from South Africa. Im currently working as a Unit Manager in the Surgical Ward of the hospital. I am a qualified clinical nurse and done my midwivery course as well. I would like to work in UAE, either Dhubai or Abu Dhabi. I am married with two kids. My husbad is in the hydraulic business and my two kids are still schoolgoing age. Can they be accomodated and how to I get hold of Nursing agencies? Your reply would be highly appreciated.
