There are plenty of nursing schools in Illinois. You might want to narrow your question. Are you in Chicago? Springfield? Peoria? Even then, you have choices.
A list of programs and NCLEX pass rates can be found here. http://nursing.illinois.gov/PDF/IlApNursingEdProgPassRates.PDF. You want a program with a high pass rate.
However, you need to look at other things too. For instance, some schools will admit scores of people and then flunk scores to keep the pass rate artificially high.
You also need to make sure the school is accredited. Approved and accredited are not the same. CCNE or ACEN.
Finally, I suggest you rethink any school that costs $90,000+. There are scores of posts warning eager students about going down this road.

Hi guys! I'm really looking for a really good school I could transfer into next year. I'm currently enrolled at my local community college for pre-nursing and I'm thinking about getting my ADN before my BSN, but first I will like to hear any reccomandations on a good BSN program in Illinois.
Also does anyone know if hospital jobs base hiring applicants off of which institution they received their RN or BSN? I wanted to transfer to Chamberlain next year but being 90,000 + interest in debt is absurd.
