Which would you do for your own nails and why?
for me I would clip my nails, then file it, then wash it. After that I would lotion it. Im not sure if this is the right answer, but thats how i do it. Anyone else?
What are the risks related to foot care for a diabetic patient?
asking vague, snide questions like those, arent really helping...just saying. Knowing the risk doesnt mean you will know the exact correct order >_>

[h=2]Take Care of Your Toenails[/h]Cut toenails after bathing, when they are soft. Trim them straight across, then smooth with a nail file. Avoid cutting into the corners of toes. You may want a podiatrist (foot doctor) to do it for you.
Don't cut cuticles.

Care should be provided by a podiatrist, especially cutting the toenails. That's NCLEX and Saunders, Uworld.
Risk for bleeding, use of lotions and creams can cause skin breakdown....
Avoid testing water with toes due to burn risk...
pat feet dry with towel, do not rub.
