Does anybody know a facility, hospital who is welcoming new nurses

HI, I am a RN who moved from Virginia to the Dallas/Forth Worth Area and am currently looking for a job...(I graduated 2 years ago and have been taking care of my son ever since , so I lack the experience)it seems like all the positions for new nurses are the ones who require an internship...Does anybody know a facility, hospital who is welcoming new nurses..Also what kind of pay can I expect as base? Thank you so much...

You seem well versed on the hiring climate in Texas. I am moving to the Sweetwater area this summer. I was wondering if you knew anything about Hendrick Medical Center.

I am in North Texas, so not familiar with that facility. If you put a post on here just for that (start another thread on it), you may get some responses :)

this is very scary. Man I hate to spend almost 12k on a career I can't enjoy. I believe in God so I am having faith it will work out. At this point that is my options because becoming a teacher is Dallas is NOT a good idea!! I guess most jobs that require an education is slim for openings. I came from the banking industry where no education other that HS diploma are needed. I burnt out on that after 3 years. Besides most people I know made no more that about 27/hour. I wanted more for myself and my family. I am truly holding out faith. He has not failed me yet.

If you want more than $27/hr, you probably won't like being a nurse in the Texas hospitals. :lol2:

Try Timberlawn in Dallas (they have a website), Trinity Mother Frances and East Texas Medical Center (Tyler, TX). I have had interview offers from all three as a new nurse and a job offer twice from one but decided to stay where I'm at.

@Faith2012, I just want to encourage you and the others a little more. No matter how discouraging the market may look, God is in control. The job that he has for you, is only for you. Faith2012, continue to put your trust in HIM and have Faith because he will come thorugh.

Thank you Romans8:28. I put God first in alll that I do and I know He controls everything in my life. I know the job and dollar amount He has for me will come to me.
