Do you think I failed my CNA Exam?

Published

Today, I took both portions of the exam. I thought the written portion of the exam was common sense and because of that I think i passed that portion. However, my two skills were bed pan and positioning on his right side. I believe i did everything right from hand washing to providing access to the call light and carrying out the steps correctly. sadly, the one mistake i made was that i positioned my patient on his left side rather than his right. Is it pretty much guaranteed that i failed? Thank you.

Where is a magic 8 ball when you need one? :saint:

I wish you luck, but I have no idea if you passed or failed.

That's a tough one. I have no idea how harshly your teacher will view that. If you were positioning the patient for a procedure the side could have been a critical detail.

That's a tough one unfortunately. Where I tested, we were told wrong side would be an automatic fail. But others who went through it said the instructor may be lenient if you did everything else right.

Good luck! I hope you passed!

I'd assume it is a fail since you didn't follow directions. The right side was a "bold step" when I took the exam. However, if it was based on points and everything else was correct, maybe you passed.

You should be able to look online within 24 hrs to see your score.

Keep us posted. Best of luck.
