Do you know any nursing school without doing interview?

Hey guys!

Do you know any nursing school without doing interview? I really have to know as soon as possible~

Especially, If the nursing schools in California, it will be great!

Please help!

All of the community colleges in San Diego do not require an interview (as far as I know). But the wait list is about 2-3 years long (so I hear).

Are you looking for ADN or BSN schools?

Specializes in CVICU-ICU.

Out of curosity why do you not want to interview?

the cpr guy strikes again. any way, yes there's one in torrance, ca's el camino college's nursing program that doesn't do interviews. i did my pre-reqs there then the semester before finishing them up I saw a nursing counselor to help me get my nursing school application ready. i signed then turned it in. I waited for a year. i got in and now almost done (this december). yay!!!!!

Not sure why anyone would choose to restrict themselves to schools that don't require interviews.

It sure seems to me more logical to brush up on interview skills and have a wider field open for consideration.

Besides, at some point, presumably, one is going to want to get a job, and an interview will be required then.

Well, there are several reasons why someone would choose a school that doesn't require an interview. Perhaps, they don't interview well or interviews make them nervous. Like myself, I have panic attacks and have to be doped up on xanax for interviews. :wink2:

our school based it sole on gpa, credits and A&P

Specializes in Family Practice, Urgent Care, Cardiac Ca.

I am at VCU/MCV School of Nursing in Richmond, and they don't do any interviews!

i prepared for nursing interview almost perfectly:typing but i had bad experience from the interview.:sofahider

unfortunately, there is sort of racial discrimination.:lol_hitti well, i would say. i was discrimination.

they did not even looking at me during the interview.( from begining to end) i was so embarrassed. on the other hand, they really focus on one of the caucasians. :uhoh3::uhoh3:it was not a good experience. :nono:that’s why..:thankya:

There is a reason above :crying2:
