I think it would only help. Maybe put in the year you would graduate from Nursing School be it 2 or 3 yrs down the road(so they can at least see you'll stay with the job awhile). Then put in like knowledge of A&P, Microbiology, and human growth and development. Just play it up with classes you've already taken towards a nursing degree.
I would list the education under the education area, but I would not elaborate too much. I have had to establish during interviews that going to nursing school was not going to interfere with working the job that I was applying to. Not all employers see the benefit in hiring someone who is going to school, and you don't want to state something in the resume that causes them to discard your application without further consideration.
I would not because as said it would mean you would need to be replaced. Once you are hired and it gets closer to time then you can mention it as you start getting plans together and actually know your school schedule. You are still in the prerequisite phase and applying does not equal acceptance. Hopefully for you it does though.

Ive been taking prereqs for a nursing program, but cannot apply/start until next year. I would like to get a job in a hospital setting in the meantime, and Im wondering...if I apply to Unit/Monitor clerk position, should I tell them on the resume that Im taking classes towards a nursing program? I feel like theyll think I wouldnt be "permanent" and that theyll have to replace me soon, and not even consider me because of it. What do I say/not say? Help!
