... Maybe you should educate yourself before insulting and as well my school isn't listed.

Well said.

Any updates? I'm in the same boat as well. Passed in Nov 2023 but my school RN program closed in 2022. Now my license is on hold.

In the same boat as you. I passed Jan 2023. I graduated in 2020, but program closed in 2021. If you want to be licensed in NY you will have to get an education from an accredited school. That is the only way as of now. Only upside is that you do not have to take the exam again. The education requirement has to be satisfied and they will issue the RN license. That is your only option.

Hi! I had been an LPN from 1997 until 2016 when I finally finished my ADN. I took all of my classes online with Excelsior University...all I required was the clinical weekend to graduate with them. I was working in Florida and several other coworkers were attending Ideal Professional Institute and said I could transfer there to get my clinicals. I had asked if they were accredited and would I be able to take the boards. This was in 2016. I transferred and was told by Ideal that they had applied and were waiting for their accreditation which should have been by the end of 2016. I was approved by the state to take my boards and passed. I have been employed since then. Now it's 2025 and Ideal Professional never got their accreditation nor are they in good standing with the BON. Currently, I am a travel nurse with a compact license. I  have been unable to get a Massachusetts license because of Ideal. Even my compact license was not enough to get a contract in NJ. What are my options? I actually attended an accredited school before transfer.
