In order for me to receive tuition reimbursement through my employer, I need to have a letter grade assigned to a class upon compleiton. Does WGU do this? I have reached out to my counselor about this, but I though I'd ask here too. I think we discussed it, but I really can't remember.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

No, you just get a "pass"
Thanks Klone...I though this was the case but I couldn't remember.

My enrollment counselor told me you could get the grade as a "3.0 or B" and not a pass if you requested it since their pass is a 3.0.
Not mine. I specifcally asked her and her response was Pass/Fail because they are competency based, not credit based.
When you get an official transcript, I believe that it shows as a 3.0. However, at the end of each semester, when you look at your grades (and for purposes of tuition reimbursement) it just says "pass"

It would be worth running your problem by an enrollment counselor at WGU because during my intake process I recall my mentor mentioning something about how they have special paperwork they can send to your employer to educate them about their competency based model and they are willing to call your managers or human resources department and try to work something out if need-be. I'm paying out of pocket so it didn't apply to me.
Thanks Bruce, but I already did and they told me it's Pass or Fail. I'm moving forward and starting 8/1, just paying out of pocket like you.
