Hello there,
I have currently been in a career for the past seven years un happy and have put off going back to school to full fill my love for nursing. Can I kindly have information on weather doing this on-line is a bad idea.. ? Or do people recommend going back to school? It is extremely hard when you have bills to pay and you are on your own to try and make this work by going to school and working. I am currently working full time at the moment and managed to do my certificate 111 in aged care on line. I just have to complete placement hours, which i am going to juggle after work hours in my current job. Can anybody assist in if I choose to do this course full time at uni, how many hours a day would I have to go and if the provide night school at all.
Look forward to hearing some responses.
Cheers,
Ebs

Are you in Australia? Since US/CAN does not use terms such as div 2 ore aged care. There is an AUS/NZ nursing program forum that you may get further response. You can ask an admin to have this moved.
Edit to add. I think an entry to practice nursing education should be done in person since this is a whole new way of thinking. Many countries (and even US states ) do not accept online education as qualified for initial licensure. For 'top up' such as diploma or associates (2-year) RN license to BSN it is more accepted.
