Can we make a list of NCLEX myths? Like :answering the last question correct means you pass, the # of questions you get is randomized etc

The exam does not preselect questions for you.
It does not know how many questions that you will have before you start writing the exam.
Getting the last question correct or incorrect makes no difference in determining if you passed or not.
The number of questions does not make a difference in second guessing results either.
The number of SATA questions has no bearing on anything, they are actually only a format-style question.
The exam is not going to be different, any easier or harder, if you write it for another state. It is a national exam and you will get the same questions that day no matter which state that it is written for, they are based on how you answered the previous question.
Locale does not matter as to where you write it; you can go to Europe on vacation and write the exam there, or even Hawaii. Your exam is still going to be the same no matter where it is written.
If you do not pass, your questions on the next exam are going to come from a completely different pool of questions; that is why one must wait a minimum of 45 days to retest for any BON.

- No one is randomly selected to do the entire exam (265). If you had 265 questions and passed, the computer was unable to make a determination all the way up to the very end. Equally, if you had 265 and failed, you were in the game all the way up to the end...but you didn't stay above the passing standard.
- The number of SATA or alternate questions DOES NOT indicate how a test taker is doing. I had 28 SATA and my friend had 3 (we tested on the same day)...we both passed at 75 questions.
_ SATA can have only one correct answer. There is a rumor that each SATA will have at least two answers...not true.
