I live in Illinois and took my nclex 4 weeks ago and passed. I habe been without a job and things have been very stressful. I have found two jobs, one I start tomorrow and another next week. I sent on my check for nclex last Friday and just received a letter in the mail that I need to submit a letter about my warrant from 4 years ago. This is so frustrating and I feel so devastated. This terrible mistake has followed me around forever. It was a bad night of drinking, my boyfriend and I got in an argument in the car. He was taking me to a friend's that I was not okay with at the time. So I told him to pull over and someone would pick me up, long story short, we both became physical. A friend picked me up and because I fled the scene I was charged. The case was dismissed and I have a court case in November to get it expunged. I havnt drank sense this night. Anyways, why is a charge that I was never convicted of keeping me from getting my license?? Has anyone had problems like this?

It sounds like they're just requesting clarification. It was dismissed, which means you were not found guilty. I wouldn't include "we both became physical" as it implies wrongdoing. If that doesn't work, I'd suggest you consult an attorney. If you can find one that does free consultations, it wouldn't hurt for you to talk to one now.
well I sent in everything they asked along with a statement. I just hope it doesn't take too long. I wish I would have known to send this in weeks ago because now it will probably cost me 2 jobs.
