So I was doing some Christmas shopping for my wife the other day at New York and Company when I noticed a slip of paper by the register that said, "service occupation discount codes" and it listed Police, Fire, EMT, Teacher and Nurse. I asked the clerk, "I'm a nurse, do I get some kind of discount?" She had me show her proof (I happened to have my license in my wallet) and I got 15% off, ON TOP OF THE SALE PRICE!
I got to thinking, this wasn't even advertised, I happened to see this piece of paper that was codes for the employee to use on the register, I wonder if there are other places out there like this. Does anyone know??
Wow, good things to know! I generally love the clothes at NY&C and already have T-Mobile service. Can't wait to go clothes shopping now!
After spending nearly an hour on the phone with T-Mobile, they do *not* offer a discount for nurses, but rather through specific employers or a few state nursing associations (New Mexico is the only one I can remember right now).
For NY & Company, you can use the offer code 7472 online to get the nurse discount!I saw an advertisement on facebook, and came here to share this very thing! Good thing I did a search first:lol2:
Isn't it great!? They give you 15% off in the store if you show them your nursing license. I had my doubts but it is true. I did it myself and got a bunch of sweaters at the after christmas sale for like $12 each! A good sale always makes my day.
Yes! They do this.
Another place that gives good discounts for nurses is www.NursePoints.com
They actually have a coupon for New York & Co that will get you 20% off.
