Hello Everyone, The applications for June 2020 at Columbia University has now opened. I haven't seen any new threads for this year so I wanted to start one. I am in the process of applying and half way done! References already sent their recommendations!! and an upside to this year is that Columbia University is no longer requiring the GRE. SO I am pretty happy about that!!
Good Luck!

Opinions welcome, I appreciate unbiased outlooks
I'm having the same issue but with a dog. Ultimately I applied for on-campus housing just because of the cost difference. Especially with the first semester, I don't think I would have adequate time for my dog and hate the idea of him locked in a room for hours on end. I'm not sure with a cat though, I heard they're more independent. I would just apply for on-campus housing as a backup but keep searching for a place that allows pets? Sorry that's not much help

I would say that probably 25% of people who live in student housing have a pet. Cats are easy for sure. Dogs are a little tougher. I would say having a dog in Bard would be difficult, but it is definitely doable in the other housing options. Many people register them as support animals, and others just don’t.

I never thought of registering an emotional support animal, I'll look into it!

I called this morning and they said we will receive a package in the mail in the "coming weeks."

Columbia waiting for students to commit with the deposit before releasing financial aids package uh....lol
Also, I’m hoping not having to edge my bet and put down deposit at another school

Really? We need to accept and put our deposit down before they tell us about financial aid??
