Direct Entry MSN 2020 at Columbia University

Hello Everyone, The applications for June 2020 at Columbia University has now opened. I haven't seen any new threads for this year so I wanted to start one. I am in the process of applying and half way done! References already sent their recommendations!! and an upside to this year is that Columbia University is no longer requiring the GRE. SO I am pretty happy about that!!

I have a 3.42 cumulative, 3.7 or 3.8 pre req GPA and i work in a hospital (not clinical but i interact a lot with clinical staff and have witnessed procedures/healthcare taking place). I’m still extremely nervous and unsure myself! I hope we all get in ❤️

Yeah applied to NYU (rejected), Stony Brook (rejected), and Marian (Accepted). Currently filling out paperwork for John Hopkins though.

I'm nervous as well. My pre requisite GPA is pretty good. My undergrad gpa is not my best. So, I'm very nervous! Trying to be positive. Hope we get in.

Same here. I’ll barely be able afford to pay for a loan that much, even later on with a nurse’s salary.

Omg I'm in too. I just got notice about 30 mins before this email that I also got into UT.

I think I am going to take the UT offer much cheaper and I didnt get into FNP for Columbia just MDE.
