Creating this forum for those who have applied to the RN residency program with Northridge Hospital 🙂 Application is open from May 1, 2025 to May 14, 2025, for the Fall September Program. Let's connect during the waiting period, and good luck to all of us!

By next week for sure the latest, we should hear something.
In the job posting it says interviews will be conducted in person July 22 & 23! So it may be later than next week when we hear back

I must have missed that! Thank you 🙏

This is on both applications: YOU MUST HAVE AN RN LICENSE AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION. THE LICENSE NUMBER MUST BE ON YOUR RESUME FOR CONSIDERATION.

I think they were referring to Northridge specifically. In the new grad packet for Northridge it said interview notifications will start in June and from the forum for the last September cohort they read offers were extended in July. It says on the applications for Glendale Memorial that interviews will be conducted in person on July 22 & 23 and California Medical Center on July 15 & 16.
I reached out to the National Nurse Residency Coordinator, the contact information is in the packet, and they stated they will not be hiring for L&D, Postpartum, NICU and Pediatrics if anyone is interested in those areas. I am waiting to hear back if they are able to tell me which units are available.

Thank you for sharing that info, definitely a little disappointing.

I also applied to Glendale and I went ahead and took off anything that was Organization specific to Northridge. I'm assuming they have already printed what they needed. They also said they would be getting back mid June and they haven't, so it might be safe to say they moved on with other candidates.
