  1. Hi sorry he doesn't remember much besides it not being that hard and no clinical. I wouldn't sweat it just have enough stories prepared for generic questions, and be yourself. good luck!
  2. For those that got interview not selected, what units do you apply for? I got the same and applied for ICU & ER.
  3. Congrats! I'm sure I'll see you around ?
  4. Yes medicine called their candidates either day of the interview or day after last week for unit level this week.. On the New Grad Bay Area nurses, people mentioned they got their calls for medicine unit. Hoping for the best for you! It's hard out here ?
  5. Unit interviews have happened this week or are currently happening. Last day to receive a call was last Friday for a unit level interview. Sorry ?
  6. For those that interviewed, has anyone heard anything?
  7. Does anyone know the structure of the new grad program? Are the days back to back or scattered throughout the week?
  8. Congrats! I'm assuming I didn't get it. Good luck ?
  9. I received an interview as well for that unit!! the pay is 48 for your weeks on orientation and once it's done in the 12 weeks, it goes up to $53 I believe.
  10. Hi everyone I got a second interview for Surgical Panel 1 ENT/Plastic. Does anyone have any advice for the second unit level interview even if it's not for the same department? Thank you!
  11. Hi everyone, just to play devil's advocate here—but keep in mind that a lot of these residencies don't actually know which units will be hiring until much closer to interview time. One well-known hospital even canceled my interview entirely because they underestimated how small their cohort would be, and for those who did get interviews, they were told that even if they passed the first round, they might not move forward to the unit interview. Why? Because the hiring manager could either deny them or decide the unit no longer needs anyone. With the way things are going, federal budget cuts impacting California, many hospitals have had to either pause their new grad programs or drastically reduce the number of positions they're offering. It's a really frustrating place to be in, and trust me, I've felt it too. But please be mentally prepared to take any position you're offered, even if it's not your first choice. This might be the most competitive new grad season we've seen yet, and flexibility could make all the difference. Wishing everyone luck, and their dream jobs, and I hope we hear some good news from Northridge soon. ?
